The SJI Community Foundation continues to work closely with nonprofits and other county services to ensure a coordinated response to the COVID-19 crisis. SJI Family Resource Center received $1,100 to fund the annual Kindergarten Kickoff event to help incoming kindergarten students become familiar with their school environment.
San Juan Public Schools Foundation received $3,060 for a website upgrade.
San Juan Islands Museum of Art received $2,500 for program education, enrichment and community awareness.
Leadership San Juan Islands received $1,200 for adult leadership training tuition assistance.
Salish Sea Sciences received $10,000 for a new high school scientific diving certification program.
SJC Economic Development Council received $3,275 for the SJI Electrical Basics trades training class offering.
