Charitable Project Evaluation & Reporting

The hallmark of the SJICF is its program evaluation and review process which provides donors with an in-depth look at community projects seeking philanthropic support.  Projects may originate with non-profits, government organizations or even the Community Foundation itself.  Once approved for fund development, these projects receive the Foundation Select designation which assures potential donors that the project meets stringent requirements including evidence of need, feasibility and sustainable economic standards that indicate impact and success.

Donors may avail themselves of project investment consults that will answer their  questions and allow for custom selection of areas most deserving of their charitable gifts.  Post gift consults allow project tracking and even direct involvement if desired.  The project consult service is offered to donors without charge as a fulfillment of the Foundation’s fundamental mission
