Recommend a Grant from Your Fund

Fundholders may recommend a grant to be made by the Foundation Board of Directors conditioned on the terms of their Fund as established at the Fund’s inception.  The recommendation must be for a grant to:

  • an existing Foundation Fund (see List of Foundation Funds);
  • an existing project showcased in our “Giving Center”;
  • an IRS Tax Exempt 501(c)(3) organization;
  • government agency or religious organization that has qualified for exempt status. By policy of the Foundation, grants to exempt religious organizations must be made for non-religious programs.

Grant recommendations are reviewed for compliance to the terms of the donor’s Fund and qualification of the proposed grantee.

Distributions are reviewed on a quarterly basis on a quarterly basis (ie. January/April/July & October). Expedited processing of a grant is possible and usually entails an additional fee.  The minimum expedited time is two weeks.
