Healthy Community Fund
The Foundation’s Healthy Community Fund was established to provide a home for donors to give broadly to the community’s most pressing needs. Relying on the expertise of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, the fund is used for a wide variety of local grants.
The Board through is continuous evaluation of community needs and projects, selects those that combine the most critical need, the highest impact and the most sustainable solution available. The organizations requesting Healthy Community grants are carefully evaluated to ensure that they have the financial and human resources to get the job done with a minimum risk of failure.
Gifts to the Healthy Community Fund can be focused on your specific Area-of-Interest by specifying one or more of the following:
- Health & Wellness
- Education
- Environment
- Local Economy
- Social Needs
- Community Infrastructure
- The Art
Give to the Healthy Community Fund
1. Credit Card or PayPal Account
Click the Donate Now button, you will be able to optionally specify an area of interest from the list above during checkout. PayPal will deduct an approximate 2.5% credit card service fee and the Foundation will add a 1% administration fee. You may take the entire gift as a deductible charitable expense.
2. Check or Transfer of Other Assets
Download the Notice of Contribution to a Fund form, complete and send to the Foundation. A 1% administration fee will be deducted except when the donation is made to one's own fund.
