Foundation Scholarships Announced : Friday Harbor: April 24, 2012

The San Juan Island Community Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of a variety of scholarship programs to assist high school graduates and adults wishing to continue their education at accredited colleges and universities, community and two-year colleges, and in accredited career and vocational training programs.

  • Inskeep Legacy Scholarship – for 2012 high school graduates from a San Juan Island high school program preparing to attend a four year college or university program.  Deadline for application:  May 1, 2012, 5 p.m.
  • General Scholarship – for San Juan Island high school graduates wishing to further their education in an accredited community college, two-year college, or vocational/career program.
  • Career Training – for San Juan Island residents with a high school degree or GED certificate planning to initiate or further career training in an accredited program leading to skills/professional certification.  Currently applicants preparing for healthcare careers receive priority.
