As the 2012 County Fair draws to a close, the San Juan Island Community Foundation is pleased to announce that with the help of hundreds of citizens, our on-line Giving Center Match! Program was a huge success with all of the featured projects receiving support and two exceeding their Match! goal.

Match! donations for the Foodbank, Arts in the Schools, The Whale Museum Soundwatch program, a website for the new county-wide Arts Council, a Kindergarten Enrichment and Readiness program, Stage Left Theatre for All, Womens Fund memberships, scholarships and support for the Healthy Community Fund  exceeded $33,500 and were matched by over $15,500 by the Foundation. The winner of the $500 ‘On-Top’ drawing was Courtland Bell who directed that amount to the Friday Harbor Food Bank.  Congratulations to all!
