Peace Island Medical Center

The San Juan Island Community Foundation is proud to have championed the creation of PeaceHealth’s Peace Island Medical Center in 2012, having raised $10 million in support of improving access to quality health care for all islanders.

SJICF continues to support our medical center and hospital in many ways, including our important role to accept charitable donations for Peace Island Medical Center through three different funds:

Peace Island Medical Center includes a clinic, hospital, a cancer care and specialty center and a 24-hour emergency department.  State-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment, backed by the latest in information technology provides a coordinated and seamless continuum of care between your home in the islands and wherever you might receive treatment. PeaceHealth partnered with the San Juan Island community to create this award winning home for medical care and serves residents and visitors of the San Juan Islands by delivering safe, evidence-based healthcare to all, regardless of ability to pay.

Contributions by community-minded individuals and businesses support a variety of on-going and expanded healthcare, wellness and treatment programs. When you make a gift to PIMC through the Community Foundation you become a lasting partner in the health and well-being of our entire community. Thanks to your generosity, we can ensure that our medical center and hospital will continue to provide world-class health care far into the future.

You can make an online contribution from the links above, alternately you can mail a check to SJICF, P.O. Box 1352, Friday Harbor, WA 98250. Please note “PIMC” in the memo line on your check. Legacy gifts may also be made. Call the Foundation office to make arrangements at (360) 378-1001. All gifts are tax-deductible.
