Applying for a Grant

If your organization is interested in applying for a grant, we invite you to meet with Foundation representatives to discuss your project in advance. This requirement is designed to help you with the application process. It also allows the Foundation to better understand what you seek to achieve and to give you the opportunity to learn more about our process and how we might be of service to you. Applications submitted without a pre-application meeting may not be considered for funding. To schedule a pre-application meeting, contact the office at (360) 378-1001.

Submit an Application

Applications are reviewed three times per year. Incomplete applications will be returned. In order for your grant to be considered in a timely manner, please submit your online application by end of day on the following dates:

  • January 22, 2024
  • May 13, 2024
  • October 28, 2024

To view all of the grant application questions prior to filling out your online application, please click here for a read-only version.

Requests for $3,500 or less

A streamlined grant application is now available for requests that are $3,500 or less. These grant requests follow the same grant cycle timeline noted above but may not require a pre-application meeting. Please call Carrie Unpingco at 360-378-1001 prior to submitting an application to discuss your project and confirm it qualifies for this new application. When you’re ready to submit, go to the $3,500 or Less Grant Application to fill out your application by the grant deadline.

Emergency Grants

If your organization is in need of emergency funding, please visit the Emergency Grant Application page to apply. Priority will be given to needs that serve vulnerable community  members in the areas of health and social services.
