The San Juan Island Community Theatre was awarded a grant for the Up Close project. The Up Close project pairs local artists with elders in the community. The artists gather stories and engage their elder-partners directly in the creation of original creative work. Funding is for the performances that will take place at the Theatre September 13-16, 2018.
