Families and Neighbors Support Island Rec, FANS is a new non-profit organization that sprang from a desire to help fill the financial gap between the San Juan Island community’s park and recreation needs and what the junior tax supported organization, Island Rec can afford to address. FANS is in a start-up phase and is working to establish the organization in the community and begin membership and fundraising activities.
