The San Juan Island Community Foundation maintains the highest level of privacy concerning our donors’ contact and fund information. All contact information is used for internal purposes only and never published. Note that contact information is required by the IRS in relation to contributions but is not for public inspection. Fund names are published in Community Foundation communication material and media, unless a donor chooses for his/her fund not to be listed. The Community Foundation does not sell, trade, or share its donor list with any organization.

We employ standard, industry accepted data encryption to ensure safe and secure data transfers on our website. Online donations are made through PayPal, which uses its standard measures to ensure account information security. While the Foundation will continue to adhere to industry standards for online access, we cannot ultimately guarantee total security. We are prepared to make special offline arrangements with any donor who is uncomfortable with online access.
