The mission of the San Juan Island Prevention Coalition is to reduce substance abuse in youth and to create community culture supporting healthy choices and responsible behaviors in youth and adults.
Primary Targets of Our Mission
Advocacy / Human Rights, Environment, Leadership, LGBTQ+, Media / Broadcasting, Race / Ethnicity, Safety / Emergency, Substance Use / Addiction, Community Wellness and Suicide and Substance Abuse Prevention; rather than only focusing on treatment, the intent is to prevent abuse
