Thanks to the generosity and vision of our donors, SJICF offers scholarships to eligible high school graduates for higher education and career training opportunities for all ages. Scholarships can open doors to advanced education and provide an incentive to realize one’s dreams.
In 2024, the Foundation was pleased to award $247,500 in scholarships for higher education and career training programs. Since the first awards in 2008, 218 students have received more than $2.5 million in awards.
Applications may be submitted at any time for the following scholarship program:
- SJICF Scholarship – For educational opportunities at any accredited community college, two-year college, four-year college or university, graduate school program, or vocational/career program.
*If you are going to apply for scholarship funding for Fall 2025, please plan to submit your application by April 23, 2025.
Applications will be available on March 7, 2025, and due on April 23, 2025, for the following scholarship programs:
- Inskeep Legacy Scholarship – For four-year college and university educational opportunities
- Michael Scott Kramer Memorial Scholarship – For advanced education and training in recreation, adventure tourism, forestry, marine trades, or other related earth sciences
- Vida Wight Memorial Scholarship – For young women with a passion for protecting and empowering those who have experienced discrimination of some form
- Volk – Geyman Scholarship – For aviation-related training
